That Cadillac you gave me last year needs gas so you bet- ter bring lots of gas the Cadillac is just about done for cause driving around my city that you gave me 8 years ago. The city you know is also just about done for. So I -think the 401 is efficient enough put that in my stocking. Just then Rudolrs nose flickered and went out, While Santa was getting ready for bed, Rudolf fell into the Christ- mas tree. When Santa went to say good -night he could smell something burning in the kit- chen. Everyone had been working so hard for Christmas and they were -so tired that everything was going wrong. So; Santa decided to go to bed. When morning came Mrs. Clause called everyone for breakfast. After a good night's rest and something to eat they felt much better. It was .about 8:30 Tuesday night when' Santa said well that's that I"m ready to go. So off he went and the elves could here him ho ho hoing 15 miles away. Finally Santa came to the first house. He got half waysdown the chimney and fire came up and burned his pants, luckily he had another pair of pants in his toy bag. After he left that house he heard a siren it wasA casper thei policeman riding his flying horse.,„ Casper said all right pull over and Santa said What did 1 do officer he said you are going' 1,000 miles to fast Santa said, I didn't notice,, Well you'll have to come in with me -to the sky officer When Santa gat there he had to pay a bag of toys and when he left he went straighthome and Mrs, Claus said what are you doing home so early, its only 3:00 and Santa said "it just wasn't my night" - Greg Lapaine Robertson CHRISTMAS JOYS Christmas is a time for feasting, giving, receiving, and celebrating Jesus birth. • Of angels rejoicing,pf good will' towards men and peace on earth, A time ,for the Christmas tree with sparkling lights For sleding snowshoing skiing and having snow fightsi But best of all is the turkey dinner You eat so much it takes two months to ,get thinner. The potatoes with gravy and cranberry sauce and pickles 1? This Christmas feasts cost 12 dollars an 2 nickles.
