Hopes food
gets cheaper
MY WISHES FOR 1975
In the New Year I hope that
the price of food will decrease.
If this happens (which I doubt
very much) the people who are
suffering from poverty might be
able to afford something tQ
nourish themselves.
Also, I hope that the shop-
ping plazas will be built so that
, there might be some variety in
our stores. In 1975 and in the
Near that.,fo.11ows I would like
...,Gbderich;'to grow into a large
and prosperous city, so that
people from all over will come
to visit it and shop here.
For myself and all the kids
my age I wish that Goderich
will build an all year round
roller skating rink' so we would
have something to' do in the
winter instead of as the parents
say "bumming 'around".
t also would like'the railroad
station to come back into ser-
vice so that we might be able to
have transportation to the,
cities more easily and the
people who have travelled by
train know that the'view is very
pleasant.
For our country,'in the New
Year, I wish that Canada•
would strike oil. Sounds im-
possible doesn't it? If this does
happen, Canada may become
as rich as the Arabs.' Also I
hope that Canada would win
some gold metals in the Olym-•
pies.
In 1975 for our world I wish
'that all the nationshave peace
and unity. I also hope that if
we have another Appollo flight,
the men' who are going up come
back down safely._
If all of these predictions
come true I would : say that
"1975," will be a very enjoyable'
year.

MY HOPES FOR 1975
In 1975 I hope to get a new
bike because mine is small for
me and it is hard to peddle, My
legs hit the handle bars and I
can hardly- walk after that.
Bikes are-dangous two. If yi2u
don't handle them right you
can get killed easily. This could
be 'caused by a small bike. So
be careful and take time to be
safe.
Larry Gaynor

MY PREDICTIONS
I predict in 1975 the prices
will go up; fon food and all
other things. Gas will go up
probably so high that people
will not have cars or at least
drive them. With all the things.
you' have to buy like food, you
probably will not be able to pay
taxes. It will be hard to keep
alive.
In the countries where people
are dying, they will .not he able
to have the money we should
send to .them, because we need
it for ourselves.
The rich people. are lucky
because they have all the
money and they will not have
to worry about high prices.
Well I sure hope this doesn't
happen, but I predict it will.

WHAT I HOPE
FOR THE YEAR 75
I hope in the year 75 that the
schools closedown. And that
the prices go down. Also I
would like to go for trips
ti
without i have to pay. And I
hope that we move to Califor-
nia. And that the schools
closedown there to and also
that the prices go down there as
well. And I could go' to
Disneyland when ever I like.
And' that we have our very own
private kool. And then we get
our own' private'plane. And I
hope that I get a new ten speed
bike.

THE YEAR OF 1975
Next year for °starters, I'm
hoping for a good New. Y'ear's
party.
Then we could use another
toilet downstairs. It really gets
aggravating when you, run all
the way up the stairs holding
your pants and then after all
that the toilet's busy.
Also we,,,could use a litter
--box so that -I don't have to
clean up after the cat all the
time. The dirty thing.
This school of ours could do
with some teachers with some
melons. Some may have big
heads but that's just rocks.
Find out for yourself.
I haven't seen Much writing
on the walls of the washrooms:
. This town could do with some
more poets. You have to do
something while your sitting
there.
We should have special roads
for bikes which follow the high-
ways. You' are bootin' - `er on
- down 'the highway and ' here
this car comes creeping on up
behind you yelling and
swearing, "Get that thing off
the road or I'll flatten you".
And there on the side of, the
road is a foot of soft sand..
What do you do?
This world should have
another Evil Kenivel. Then
they could have a oontest to see
who can break the most bones.
Next year we should have
another Santa. I really feel
sorry for the` guy when - he
trucks around Christmas Eve
with that bag full of presents.
All these ideas would make
Jot me an almosvt fierfect 1975.
