THE YEAR 1975„
In this town of Goderich I
hope for two shdpping plaza's. I
feel that it would be a better
selection of stores and it will be
different. I hope we will get a
Y.M.C.A. built too.
In my country, I hope
Canada does well in the Olym-
pics. The last time'Canada was
in the Olympics we did fairly
well.
In the world and future I
hope there will be no more
wars between countries. I also
hope the world will.be a hap-
pier and better place to live.

A YEAR OF HOPE
In the year of 1975 I- hope
that,, an impossible dream will
come true. In the town pf
Goderich, my towlyi hope that
most of the roads and streets
will be repaired. Also at Christ-
mas of 1975, I hope that the
grounds will be covered with
snow.
Another hope is that
Goderich will be built up to a
wealthy and well known city
some day, Another hope for the
future is that the pollution in
the world will be conquered
and Canada will build up,,to be
a clean and healthy country.

ddeflatitrg' inflation; the con-
struction of a person's home,
family, and world; great feats
in medical science such as a
cure for, cancer; astro-science,
too, might possibly accomplish
,something as great as com-,
munications with other
planets; the nearly impossible
dream of cqmplete peace
among nations; all of these Eire
what I hope for in the year
1975.
•. Whether or not Man :can
complete all of these tasks in
one year is an unanSwered-

try and make the world an ear-
thly 'paradise.

A HOPE FoR
THE FUTURE •
In the year 1975 I •think
things will progress the -same as
previousyears, but I hope soine
things will change.
With the amount of people
who make use of the arena for
figure skating and hockey I
hope the new sports complex
will be approved. Not only
would the complex tiring on
'Goderich in sports facilities but
it would give young people
something to do.
One thing certainly looks
bright for the foture and that is
the mall which will give shop-
pers a wide selection of things
to purchase in Goderich, Not
onlywill it satisfy the shoppers
needs in Goderich but it will
help bring down prices on the
square.
In this day and age things on
the out side -world look pretty
dismal but when you think
about it things arn't that bad.
One main thing that seems to
bother us all is the oil shortage.
Another thing dealing with oil,
that effect i us worse is the
price. No one seems to have a
sure shot solution but I think if
every body triade an effort to
conserve fuel things would be
easier.
there will be peace and hap-
piness so that it will be a better
place to live' in.

HOPEFULLY A GREAT YEAR
1975
In 1975 I hope that all of the
companies that, are drilling for '
oil, find what they are looking
for so that the world never
run out of. oil.
I also hope that the scientists
try to" make electricity out of
lightening by placing lightening
rods in the, grounds and with
wire attached to the rod. Then
when the lightening hits the
rod and goes through the cable
we can store it for future use.
After this I hope that there °
will be no more wars and the
world will unite and "Bang"!
peace. Yes, beautiful peace,
what 'we've all been hoping for.
In 19751 hope that our town,
will get two new , shopping
plazas so that we won't have to
go to Stratford to go shopping.
I also hope that all of the main
streets get widened to four
lanes each. Theri I hope for a A
& W for food.
For myself I hope to get a ten
speed bike, I also hope that my
mom and sister go to Holland
because my mom needs another
break and my sister also hasn't
been there. •
In conclusion I hope that
1975 is a very good and
prosperous year for ever -One.

MY PREDICTIONS FOR '75
When 1975 rolls around I'll
be hoping for the best year ever.
First off I predict that the
prices of food will hit ground
level. My second prediction is
that all the starving and. needy
countries will get refuge and
they will have good, homes and
will be supported by the better
.families who think of other
people. My third and most im-
portant prediction is that of
being loved by everyone and
that there will be no more wars!
or conflict.

LIFE
Life is a Iwonderful thing yet
many people Abuse it. You have
but a brief tithe to live yet in
that life you tan do many
beautiful and wonderful things
yet many people abuse this and
do stupid things that they will
soon regret. Many people want
to live a long and happy life but
others just live for greed and
wealth. There is one thing we
all share in is an, awful end
called' death.
