Sports, has informed me that
new team sweaters are nor in
for the Hous , League teams,
Goderich Restaurant,
Denomme Flowers, Gardiners
(Goderich), and Mr. Stereo.
The Goderich O.F.P. team in •
the Pee Wee division have had
their sweaters for a couple of
games, ' and they sure look
smart. The -Juvenile All -Stars
and the Midget "B"s are now
in their new sweaters, from
their sponsors Signal Star and
R.J. Watson Real Estate. Mike
Pope hopes to have the TWINS
new uniforms before their next
home game which Will be this
Sunday.'

NOVICE ALL-STARS
The Electrics travelled to -
Zurich for a game with Grand
Bend and came hot'ne 9-0 win-
ners, John Thompson was the
spark plug with four goals.
Daryl Madge notched three and
singles went to Nick Treblish•
-,-and Todd ,Graham. Grant
Garrow had two assists, Kent
Feagan, Steve Sinclair, Randy
Gaynor and Tim Chisholm also.

The defence lines of Paul Jef-
frey, Tim Riehe, Tim Chisholm
and Steve Sinclair played their
strongest game of the year.
Terry • Bean stopped a
breakaway early in the game

On Saturday night, the boys
made it ,two yin• a row with a 9-2
win over Seaforth. John•. Thom-
pson notched four goals, Daryl
• Madge had three, and singles
went to Randy Gaynor and
Mike Eastwood: Grant Garrow
picked tip two assists. Randy
Gaynor, Daryl' Madge and
Mike- Eastwood had single
assists.
Unlike the Friday game, the
team started, very fast and kept.
the effort up the whole game.
Next outing will be on Satur
t' day, November 30, when South
-London will be in town for a 5
o'clock game. This will be a
good test for the boys and we're
confident the team will rise for
the occasion.
NOVICE HOUSE LEAGUE
The Legion Auxiliary and
' Mr.: Stereo battled to, their
second 0-0 tie of the .year.
Raymond Bedard,' ih the
Auxiliary nets, and John .Dobie
in the ,Stereos nets, made key
saves to earn their shutouts.
Scott Stokes and Doug Shelly
for the Auxiliary, played an
outstanding game as did Randy
Chapman and Darren Connelly
for the Stereos.
Gardiner's Dairy' edge Legion •
Auxiliary 1-0. Ken Huff" not-
ched the only goal of the game
unassisted. Keyin Feagan'
recorded the shutout. Raymond
Bedard in the Auxiliary net
made several tough saves.
Robin Moore for,Gardiners and
Mike Mcisaac for the Auxiliary
played outstanding games.
Gardiner's Dairy. were flying
Saturday morning ,,when they
defeated Mr: Stereo 3.0.
Michael Brenner had two goals
and Brent Williamson a single
for.,.•Gardiners. Ken Huff had
two assists as did David Smith.
Kevin. Feagan recorded his,

ATOM ALL-STARS
The Suncoast Suns defeated
Listowel Cyclones 2-0 in
W.O.A.A. league 'play-, here
Saturday night.
The win broke a three game
losing streak for the Suns,
giving them now an even record
of three wins, three losses and
one tie in seven league games.
Captain David Eastwood
scored both Goderich goals, one
in the first period, unassisted,
and the' other in the third
.period, assisted by David
Gallow.
Goalies Jeff Denomme and
Jim MacDonald each worked
half of the game in recording
their first shutout of the year."
The Sons had lost to
Listowel 3-1 in Listowel on
Monday, but here on Saturday
they were full value -for their 2-
0 victory over the Cyclones.
New line combinations set up
by coach • Richard Madge
resulted in a strong effort from
all three evenly balanced lines.
Darrell Graham centered one
line with Denis Kerr and John
Peters on' the wings, ' while
David Eastwood 'was-. between
David Gallow and Scott Ross
on another unit. Jim Mathers
had Joey Morrissey and Brad
,Armstrong -on his- wings,
making up the other line,
Robbie Kisch ' and .Tim.
Lassaline, who -was brought up
recently from trhe House

This weekend, the Suns are
on the road ,for two' games.

Lassaline. McIntee Real Estate
tied the game -at the 1:.45 mark

Mike Sheardown was serving a
tripping penalty, Tom Smith
'picked up Greg Lapaine's
rebound to beat Pat Bissett.
Mclntee .meal Estate went
ahead. 2-1, as they- opened the
third period with a quick power
play goal by Tom Smith, his
second of the game, Mike -Mad-
den assisted. Then with Tom
Smith off for tripping, Tim
Lassaline got the tieing -goal to
give Glenmark a tie and first
place in the League Standt'ngs
with 7 points.
Second game, was a high
scoring , affair ,as Canadian
Legion Auxiliary came up with
two unanswered goals late in
the final period to upset the
Goderich Electrics 5-3. First
period very close checking
highlighted by key . saves on
.breakaways by both clubs, only
goal in the period was by Brian
Shortreed unassisted, for the
Canadian Legion Auxiliary.
Each team produced two
goals in the second. Torn Profit
picked up .both Goderich-Elec-
tric's 'goals, and drawing an
assist was Andy Telford who

lost their first Scheduled game
to Listowel on Saturday - to
date they have played 7 games,

When .the Lion's travelled to
Listowel on Thursday, the
score was 5-4 for Goderich but
Listowel. was pushing hard by
the end of the game. and they
came to Goderich on Saturday
determined to • Win - and' win
they did, 3-2.

the end of the 'first period
Saturday night but the. Lions
held them there while they
scored two and were fi5iled on'
many attempts by the Listowel
