A three -car collision on the
vorner of Tilt .and Bennett
Streets on Saturday ,November
2. resulted in over $1400
damage. The vehicles we?,re
driven by Joyce Elaine Burbine
of 1i3? Palmerston St., Gordon
MacDonald RR 4 Goderich and
Joseph Burbine of 115 Ir4tan-
nia Rd. There were no injuries
in the collision.
A two -car collision at Vic-
toria and East Streets Monday
November .4 sent Una Watson
to `hospital with concussion.
She was • kept overnight arid
released. Una Watson was a
passenger in the vehicle driven
by Margaret Reynolds of 172
St. David St., that collided with
a vehicle driven by Frank Wat-
son .of 97 Napier St. Jamie
Reynolds, also a passenger in
the Reynolds vehicle was
treated for minor ` cuts and
bruises while Frank Watson
suffered sprained wrists.
Damage estimate too ° the
Reynolds vehicle was $2000
and $1200 to the Watson
u vehicle.
A damage estimate of $950
resulted in a two -car collision
between Piotr Brudnicki of -39
Trafalgar St. and •Marcel
Lassaline of 27 Napier St. in
the Britannia and Huron Rd.

Colborne St. Tuesday morning
resulted in $700 total damage.

During the week police also
laid five charges under the
criminal code, 13 under the
highway traffic act, -eight under
the liquor control ,act and four
under by laws. There was also
one report from a child who
found pins in his Hallowe'en
candy.

flowers. Her chapel' train
featured-` floor -length fishtail .
bow. She carried a nosegay of
miniature white carnations and
red sweetheart roses.

floor -length dress . of white
bodice with high collar and a
skirt of white polka dots on
light -blue background, It
featured an empire waistline
.and matching jacket:- She

Following the ceremony, a
reception took place in the Sun-
day School room of the church
where the bride's „Mother
'assisted in receiving the guests
wearing a floor -length gown of
floral print of orange and blue
over beige background' and a'
corsage of white and orange tin-
' ted carnations. The groom's
mother wore a floor -length
gown of deep pink -floral
polyester sheer over taffeta and
a corsage of pink carnations., .
For a wedding trip to Nor-
thern Ontario, the -bride thin-
ned a burgundy coat dress with
white and burgundy checked
- collar and cuffs, •

"October 29 Twenty-seven
ladies enjoyed a delicious
turkey dinner, this being their
Sunshine Sister. annual
banquet. After the dinner there
was .an exchange of gifts as the
ladies found out who their Sun-
shine Sister had been for the
past year. The ladies, then en-
joyed a game of 500 and a
delightful evening was brought
to a close.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom. Moore at-
tended Convocation Exercises
or the George' Brown College of
Applied Art and Technology,
'Toronto, recently when their
daughter Brenda received -the
F.G. -Bradley Annual Bursary`
for $250 which is awarded • an- •
•nually for Hotel and Food Ad-
ministration. Brenda is taking
a two year course in Food Ad-
ministration and this Bursary
was received for her first year
in which she achieved a 3.0
Grade. Brenda is finding
"food" a very,interesting career
and during the timmer was
employed in the kitchen at the
Benmiller Inn.
Farmers are urged to guard
their grain, equipment, fowl.,
storage tanks, etc: as several
farmers have reported items of
this• nature missing lately.

Resources in Wingham has an-
nounced a new county plan
which will make deer licences
available to farmers at half

-"Farmers will be able to pur- •
• chase the licences for half price
'-for the upcoming season in. the
Wingham district,. November
11-14. The farmers. licence,
which would' cost $5, is
*fr•availahle at licence issuers and
the office of the Ministry of
Natural Resources cine mile

where the season is open in the
county in which he resides: The
Ministry, however, will restrict
the purchasing of licences to
