Miss ,Bonthron's Grade 4
and 5 have been busy
'decorating the room with black
cats, _pumpkins and witches.
Each student -wrote a verse
about Hallowe'en and the verse
was pasted on the' cat or`n-
pkin. Here are some of them.
Hallowe'en is scary,
And the monsters are hairy
The witches are mean,
Certainlye not like a queen.
Hallowe'en is quite a sight,
On that cold, dark, but -spooky
night
Beneath that white shiny
moon,
It will be over pretty soon.
Natalie Sully
Hallowe'en is goblins' night
Ghosts join the fun to scare
things in .sight
Some boys like to fool
At times they go by a rule:
On one Hallowe'en •night,
Two ghosts had • a fight
The first lost. his head
The second went "to bed.
Toni, Vance
•
•
Hallowe'en is fun to me,
I dressup like a bumble bee
Hallowe'en is trick` or treat,
You get candy that is so sweet.
Witches dress up scary too
Ghosts hide behind corners and
say "boo".
Goblins wear black clothes,
Cats dress up like nobody
knows.
Kim Schutz.
Hallowe'en is such fun
Except when the sun is done
If Hallowe'en is wet and cold,
Hallowe'en gets gray and old.
Ghost fun can make you run,
But never, ever snakes it fun
Hairy monsters trail the street,
Some not even on their feet;
