Mrs. Legg demonstrated her painting ability at the easel, by producing an- oil painting of a collection sof fall flowers. During the demonstration, Mrs. C. Worsell provided the audience with coffee and cookies. A number of members of the Goderich Art Club were present also. They had contributed many of their floral paintings to decorate the hall for the meeting. Eating nutritious foods is an important part of our daily living. Recent results of the Nutrition Canada Survey have pinpointed nutritional problems of Canadians. The all -day meeting features discussions on a wide range'of topics relating tonutrition and food habits - choosing food in the supermarket, labelling, ad- ditives, food 'fads. That is why they spend time and energy carefully planning interesting Wednesday morning programs. Last Wednesday members were pleased with the Opening Dtry. Dr. Tony Miller challenged the group toput their child's problems into words. After discussion the ladies had a better understan- ding of the problem. Dr. Miller made the group think; he listened -to them; be talked`with them, not at them. "You could bounce your ideas off an expert` who is an experienced' father and psychologist.' He has problems with h.is«kids too", one observer said. Ladies were delighted with the babysitting.
