continue winning streak
When the Goderich Vikings
and South j-luron Panthers met
Tuesday' in Huron-gerth con-
ferencefootball action in
Exeter, koth junior and senior
league championships were on
the line.
Both the junior and senior
teains from each school went
into the game undefeated in
five games. 'The games in
Exeter were the final ones for
both ,schools inthe regular

The Viking squads preserved
their perfect records by winning
here Thursday over Stratford
Central, 30-7 m the senior
game and 60-0 in the junior
contest.
The senior `Viking offence
piled up a total of 474 yards,
rushing for 351 yards and
passing. for • 123 .yards. The
Vikings scoring was concen-
trated in the first half after
which they led 29-0.
Larry Donnelly, who con-
tinued to dominate the Vi -king
running attack with a total of
187 yards rushing, scored the
first Viking touchdown on a 37
yard sweep.
Cased Wildgen scored two
first half touchdowns on a 50
yard sweep and It 10• yard pass
and run play. from Donnelly.
Wildgen also kicked two
singles, one in the first ,quarter,
the other in the fourth quarter
and one convert.

Jed ' DeJong also stood out
defensively, playing inside
linebacker.
The Viking pass defence
showed improved performance
over, earlier season efforts,
holding the pass -oriented Strat-
ford offence t� 153 yards in the
air.
The next home action for the
Vikings willbe on Tuesday,
November 5, when the semi-
final games will be played here.
The junior Vikings led 38=0
at the half, enroute to their 60-
0 shutout over a poorly
prepared Stratford Central
tears.
Tom O'Keefe had three
touchdowns on runs -on three,
five • and 27 yards.
