Congratulations to Mr. and
Mrs. Eugene Frayne u who
celebrated their 25th wedding
anniversary on Tuesday, Oc-
tober 15. An anniversary wed-
ding Mass of Thanksgiving will
be said on Saturday morning in
St. Joseph's church at
Kingsbridge. Open House was
held at their home on Sunday
afternoon and evening. Their
neighbours, relatives and many
friendsvisited with them, cards
were played. They were the
recipients of many gifts.
' Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Izzard
of Superior, Wisconsin, visited
during the past week with Mr.
and Mrs. Joe Courtney, Mrs.
Bernardine 'Kinney and: with
Mrs. Fred Crawford at the
Alexandra Marine and General
• Hospital in Goderich.
Mrs. Joe Maclntyre visited
recently for. one week with her
sister Audrey, Mrs. James
O'Neill and Mr. O'Neill in
Toronto.
Mr. and Mrs. John Austin
and other members of the Ash-
field Township Council and
their wives were guests of the
West Wawanosh Township
Council for the opening
ceremonies of the newly built
West- Wawanosh Township
Hall on Friday evening. The
ribbon was ;cut, during the
ceremonies by Murray Gaunt,
M.P.P.

Cletus Dalton was
badly burned on Tuesday, Oc-
tober. 15 and was a patient in
the Extensive Care Unit of the

Peter J. Vogt on the death of
her 'sister—In—law,,, Mrs. John
Zrefnbskl in Detroit on 'Wed-
nesday, October 16. Funeral
services were held on Saturday.

Sacred Heart . School at
Wingham were bused to St.
Joseph's school at Kingsbridge
on Friday, October 18, for
games of soccer, and all their
three teams were held
scoreless. The Senior Girls
defeated Wingham Sacred
Heart by the score Kingsbridge
4, Wingham 0; Senior Boys
defeated them by the score 2 to,,
0; and the Juniorboys defeated
them 5 to 0. Congratulations
Kingsbridge.
Mrs. Fred Crawford was
driven by car to the University
Hospital in London on Mon-
day, October 21 to have casts
made to form walking shoes.
When these shoes are "read

display'of'dolls at the. fair.
Mrs, Earl Drennan who was
hospitalized in St. Joseph's
Hospital in London was able to
return to her home here on
Saturday, October 19.

an empire, waist, daisy trimmed.

gathered at back waist and
trimmed with White daisies.
Maid of honor was Holly
Elliott, sister „of the bride,
Toronto. She wore a royal blue
floor=length dress of tri -cel jer-
''sey styled along the same lines
as the bride's gown but with
full sleeves. Trim on the gown
was tiny white flowers with
blue centres. A headpiece from
matching material completed
her ensemble. She wore a
necklace, a gift from the bride,
and carried a nosegay of yellow
and bronze mums.

Jenken, RR 7 London, ;,in a
gown identical to the one worn
by the maid of honor except for
a white bodice. .
Groomsman was Gerald
McMichael,: brother of the
groom, Deep River, Ontario.-
The usher 'was Clare Harman,
friend of the groom, Goderich.
The wedding reception was
at -Sunset Golf Club where the
bride's Mother 'greeted her
guests in a floor -length beige
dress with blue and orange
flower, print and a corsage of
yellow sweetheart roses. The

The regular meeting of the
Royal Canadian Legion Ladies
Auxiliary was held in the
Green Room, Royal Canadian
Legion, on October 8.
At this . meeting Comrade
Margaret . Young wasinstalled
as a member of the Auxiliary;
and Comrade Faye Sheard own
received, her' twenty-five year
pin.
