Rev: Leonard Warr officiated., for the ,marriage.,- Mrs. Warr was pianist. and also accom- panied the soloist, Mrs. Avis Bisset who sang The Wedding. Song and . We've Only ,Just Begun. ""'flee, bride's parents areMr. and Mrs. Hugh Feagan, RR 5 Goderich, and Mr. and, Mrs. Samuel" Mabon, Nile, are the parents of the groom.. • The bride was escorted to .the altar.by her' father. She wore a formal gown in french silk matte knit.• The simple lines of the gown were accented by a mandarin neckline outlined with.. seed.. pearls. A continuing yolk trim of the pearls and • a . softly draped bodice teat off, the modified . etbpire waist. Slim sleeves and -a' full bouffant -train completed the dainty gown. A full-length cathedral • veil edge with chantilly lace was held by a soft Juliet head- piece. She carried a cascading bouquet of white miniature car- nations, red ,roses and ,lily of the valley. ' The bride • was attended by her sister, Miss Susan Feagan, RR 5 Goderich, as maid of honor and 'bridesmaids • Miss Trudy Kernighan, cousin of the bride, Kitchener, and Miss Linda Mabon, sister ' of the groom, London. They .were gowned . alike in candy pink silk knit dresses with dainty jackets featuring attached hoods. They also wore white wrist -length gloves and sterling silver lockets: gifts of the bride. Each carried'a-long stemmed red Duchess Rose. The groom was attended by his brother, Ian Mabon of Goderich -apt groomsman; and Ushers Lyall; Mabon, brother of the groom, RR 5" Goderich, ' and Paul Feagan, brother.. of the bride; RR 5 Goderich. ' All the men wore navy blue formal suits with self -faced not- ched lapels edged with blue braid and blue satin. top collars. Angle flap pockets were double -piped with satin. Their matching flared trousers had matching braid side stripe. They -wore white shirts,, with blue ruffled edging, blue satin cummerbunds and bow ties and red rose butonnieres. • The wedding dinner was ser- ved in the .Church where a cir- cular wedding cake •with silver trim flanked, by pink' lighted tapers was . the focal point ,of the bride's table.' The guests' tables • were decorated 'with _red roses floating in brandy snif- ters. A wedding reception followed in Saltford ". Valley Hall. The bride's mother chose, a, formal 'gown in Capri blue french silk matte jersey with jewell trim.. at the waist and pencil sleeves. Her corsage was of pink sweetheart roses. The grlibm's mother selected a formal gown in dusty green silk knit with shirred bodice and long sleeves' gathered. at the . wrists. Yellow sweetheart roes farmed her. corsage. . The bride chose a floor - length polyester satin gown 'wtith a'lad •bodice and sleeves with lace . appliques on the dress and 'train. She wore a shoulder -length veil, and carried a bridal bouquet of white carnations and , orange roses. ' Maid of honor was Sharon Oesch, 148 Douglas Street, Stratford in a floor -length orange -ice crimp gown with white trim. She wine 'a fancy white wide -brimmed hat and carried a gathering • basket of white daisies and orange wheat. The groom was attended by' Centralia summer ieremony tt Watt, Goderich, friend' of the groom and ushers were Bruce Lyndon, Clinton' ,and Gerald . Lobb, Edmonton . Alberta, twin brother of the bride. Following the wedding a din- ner and reception was held at the Crediton Community 'Hall. For a wedding trip to the Bruce . Peninsula the bride' chose a pink and white checked pant suit with .white accessories and a pink 'rose corsage. The couple are residing in. Goderich. •. • Raymond Riley, 199 Townsend Street, Clinton.
