ROUND AND ABOUT WIiN :.M AROTHA
I)o,you expegt to go to Russia
this year . or soon?.I'11 bet you
don't, but still you,,off'en think
how nice, it would be ---to see,,
their fabulous cities and meet'
their'. people.
Bolivia now there is a coun-
try I know absolutely nothing
about -,and I'll bet it would be
a wonderful country to see.
How, 'about a trip viae canoe.
and portages from Montreal all
the way to .Alaska? Now how in
the world cana person go from
Montreal --- well, I can see
corning down the St. Lawrence
River, then thru - the Great
Lakes - then --where? James
Bay? Well, I'd'like to see that
voyage - altho' I, think I might
be seasick in the rapids but
'what a TRIP!^`
Yellowstone Park with its
geysers - we were Qnce within a
hundred miles of Yellowstone
and -didn't gb in. ,I+.ach time the
topic comes up we say, - "We
.should have taken the time
when we we're Sb close."
Have you ever been that
close?
:India - well, I think I'd enjoy
the travelogue but I have no
desire to ,go` to India.
That's the wonderful thing
about the Rotary Travelogue -
you can sit back while someone
who has been there tells you all
abbut it and • makes you feel
K.INGSBRIDGE KAPERS
that you, too, ''are there.
Another thing, if you DO travel,
to some of these places, you feel
you know something about
them and your trip is,.so much
more enjoyable.
I had seen a travelogue of
Spain at some, time or other,
and when I went to Spain not.
long ago, I was so thrilled to
see the cities and towns myself,
even tho' I didn't see a repeat
of the other fellows trip, I feltI
had spent a lot more time
there. »•.,
So, iiycil.i can't go abroad or
any great al1stance from
Goderich, try the Travelogues
this.season and feel that you
HAVE been, trivelling.
There is Sl) much tct,,si'e and
enjoy in this World arid it's
later than you think''So all a
