MF. and Mrs. Donald Simp- son recently returned from a trip to Western Canada and were honored by friends and neighbours on Saturday evening on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. • ' Many students will return to school this week, for others it Will be a first, and little Donald Marten will be goingoff to kin- dergarten at Rrooksid Changes for some are necessar and Pamela' MacIntosh Will be attending Ripley School, as will the Hackett children. Mark Johnston of Detroit spent a few holidays with his uncle bind' aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Fairish. David Irrish, who played hockey for Sud- bury, last winter spent a few days at - his home during the past week. ° Dan Wylds has a beautiful garden, again this year and has been most generous in giving vegetables to friends and neigh- . hours.
