The senior class was won by Silky Delmark (L)oug Riley, Seaforth)' second was Cotillion 'Bar (Norma Riley, Seaforth), and third was Mayo Tiger ' (Diana Johns .of Auburn). • The .Trail 'Class judges horse and rider on their. performance . over various obstacles encoun- tered during a cross country ride and was. won by Apache Lancer, owned by Ross . The quarter mile ' race followed the "Trail Class and was won by Tiger Joak, ridden by Gary Stoddart of Waterloo. Second place went to Lorne Strickler of Brussels and third went to Scott Wilson of Brussels riding Squeaky Joe. The western "pleasure 'class, testing horses and riders on their ability to control their , gaits, was won by 'Barb Mathews, Hornby, riding S.S. Blue Eagle. Second. spot. was won by Diane Johns, Auburn, riding : Mayo Tiger and third went to Nelson 'Bilyea of Gran- ton riding Jeffs Navaho Joe. The Barrel Race,'tests control of horses at high speed_ and their ability` to make 90 and 18.0 degree turns around'' barrels placed in a ring.
