Victoria School track wid field results
The students at Victoria
Public School Out .away the
books last week .to enjoy a day
of sunshine and games in their
Spring Field Day.
Each spring the schools
dispense with their classroom
procedure in favor of athletics
when the students .compete
with one another running, jum-
ping and throwing softballs.
This year's competition at
Victoria was excellent with the
majority, of the children taking
an -active -interest in the various
track and field events.

that placed in the top three in the most events were
declared Champions of their division. LaVern Burnett, left, s
.the senior girls champ tied with Cheryl Marshall who was
absent. Stewart Crew, centre, was the intermediate boys'
champ and•Grace R was.the interrnediate girls' champ.
