Whether your possessions in-

smartest use you ever made of
your camera.
Pictures of all the property
you own in a snapshot file will
be helpful sbould your property
ever sustain fire, vandalism or
theft. At such time, your file of
pictures can serve a dual pur-
pose -- toestablish the validity
of insurance. claims on insured
property, and to assist you in
replacing or repairing the lost
or damaged items.
The most useful snapshot file
is an all-inclusive one. All

sides. Ail rooms and their con-
tents should be photographed

major improvements both in-,
doors and outdoors are made,
they too should be 'recorded on

Ash parents to check
bikes for -safety
OPP Commissioner H.H.
Graham remind`the cyclist
that. he is opeing a vehicle
and he has to conform 'to the
same `rules of the rod' as the
car driver. •
As with' a car, your bicycle
must be in good working order
and you must know your
bicycle safety rules.
So paients: - before ,your
youngsters get their bikes out of
the basement, check them over
and satisfy yourself that they're
properly equipped and in good
condition•. ..
Make sure that the children
know their safety- rules; perhaps
you could even give them a'
cycling test. If you ,are not sure
of the rules, your local OPP
detachment will be only too
pleased ,to help you.
And cyclists, know how your
bike works remember it needs
regular maintenance, the same
as' a car.
At this time of year,
motorists should be par-
ticularly watchPul for the inex-
perienced cyclist. Young
children especially pre-
schoolers, can be totally un-
predictable - keep an eye out
-for them, and always expect the
unexpected.
