Busy, would seem to be
somewhat of an under-
statement when describing the
past week here at the Sunset,
Outside Paul, Leroy and
Steve -worked industriously to
prepare the course for ,,Men's
Night on Tuesday, Ladies'Night
on Thursday and the Kinsmen
Tournament on Sunday.Me on
the inside were occupied with
more domestic tasks and there
'was little time for idleness.
Tuesday night was our first
Men's Night and looking at it
in retrospect, it was quite suc-
cessful. The fellows turned out.
in full force and all and all par-
ticipated enthusiastically.
Tont/ Bedard shot his first
hole -in -one for the season and
the first for the Sunset. Tony
also shot low gross for the
night, a 68. Congratulations
seem to be in order for Tony,
whom we hope to see more of
this season.
Low net went to George
Bolton, who appears to be en-
joying golf as much this vear•as
last. George shot a 61. Keep it
up George. •
First flight winners were

Mark Lassaline and Don Scott;
third flight winners were Ray

Witliam.s, Walter Sheardown,
Bob Brindley and Marcel
Richard. The most honest
golfer of the evening was
Wayne Pouts.
Our first Ladies' Night was
also a success; although no one
shot, a hole -in -one we certainly
aren't giving up hope - it's Still
early, Some of the ladies who
were winners for the evening
were, Della Bedard; *Daphne
Matins and Joyce Bolton.
Sunday was the Kin' men
Tournament here at the Sinn -j
set, It was the Perc Dawson,
Zone .B District competition
and the .Kinsmen appeared to
be eager for some golf and some
fun.
Many teed off before 9 ,a.m.
and most were finished by ,4:00
pm. At 5:00 p.m. there was a
steak barbecue when the Kin-
smen were able to cook their
own steaks as they "liked. All.
seemed to enjoy themselves
either on the .course or in the
club house.
There, were some surprises on
the course and there was
definitely a "streaking” sur-
prise in the club house.
Winners for "the• day were
Paul Baechler who shot a 77,
John Schneiker who shot an 86,
Bob McDougall with an '87,
and Stan, Connelly with an 87.
These four gentlemen will
proceed to Westmaunt. in Kit-
chener later in the season
where they will compete for the
district title.
Hope to see you more in '74.
