Sandy Profit who started Minor Soccer for the boys of Goderich back in 1963 'made the official' kick off. Sandy com- mented that the Profit name was still alive•in,Minor Soccer with his son Tom coaching the Goderich `Hearts' and his'three grandsons Scott, Tommy. and Stephen playing for the team. The Goderich Squirts dominated play in their game against Seaforth "Dukes" win- ning 2-0 with goals from Greg Leddy and Todd Graham. A strong wind. was a major factor ,in the Atom game. Clin- ton had all the play in the first half with the `Hearts' and led :3-0 at the end of the half. In tl,e second -half playing with the wind, the 'Hearts' had all the play, but could not score. A fine save --by the Clinton goalie robbed Marit Crawford of a Sandy Profit officially kicked off minor soccer. in Goderich last Saturday morning.
