Mr. Savage is deputy grand secretary of the Grand Orange. Lodge of Ontario West, which with the Grand Black Chapter will hold sessions here, April 24-27, preceded by ,a service in Victoria Street United church on Tuesday evening, April 23. The Goderich lodge met on Friday to confer' • the 'Royal 'Arch ; degree upon , two candidates. The degree work °was performed by visiting grand lodge and county officers entirely from memory. Tom Deeves, of Clinton, took the master's chair, and with 'him on the platform were Mr. Savage; Ron Cartinale, master of Thamesford lodge, ands Ar- thur Lee, Woodskpck.
