W.J. Egener, has- sent a letter
to Ontario Attorney General
Robert Welch saying- Huron
County lawyers strongly oppose
the proposed move.
:The Stratford ;;,court 'is
already overtaxed with cases
from Perth County, Mr. Egener
told the Signal -Star Wed-
" nesday. •
"Additional court business
arising from Huron 'County
would`. merely compound the
problem," he said.
3't would be inconvenient for -
county residents ti travel 50
miles' to Stratford from the
eounty•courthouse in Goderich,
he maintained.
Train service between. the
two towns is lackink -and buses

Colborne's all-star girls' and
boys' basketball teams came to
compete against Robertson's

'Successful, for' both Robertson
teams. .
The senior class represen-
tatives°.met with -Mr. Harland,
and decided that a' yearbook
would be isaue1 at the end 'of -
June.
On "Wednesday, -March 13
grade 8 classes will be perfor-
ming a musiplay to raise money
for. graduation. Mr.. Brooks hag
chosen people to design posters
and background scenery for the
rfiusiplay. -

the move Aould result in„ a
backlog at the 'Stratford
Supreme Court which sits only
four time§ a year.
The county' association fears
that 'this••move could 'lead 'to
another. County court'could be
moved to Stratford also.
After , being in first place
most of tlw season and then
dropping back, Jim Weary .has -
regained the lead.. Following
,close behind him with an exten-
ded' winning streak is Dave
Weary.. Dennis Little is having
a good season holding down the
last first level position. Dennis
was,,last year's third' level win-
ner,
Glen Falkiner has alien -over
:the lead in Level 2 with John
Ka'np not •too' far behind. Ian
Ross has now made it up into
the regular 'standings ands' is
doing very well in level 2. Glen,.
Wightman and Harold, Kloeze
are battling out the last second
level position with only .015
per cent separating them.
In Level 3 Larry McDougall
has taken over the lead from
Laird . Eisler who is right
behind him Dwight Aldharrr.
has now slipped by John
Kloeze into third place in level
3.

impressive 1:5-1 record_.. while
!Laverne Riley is also doing
very well with a y22-3-1 record.
Both players have "a very good
chance of making the regular
standings and at the rate they
are`going they, would take first
and second positions away

Kirk Lyndon ,and Dave
Carruthers also have i,a shot at
getting into. the regular stan
,dings. Kirk has a„.400• win lost
percentage and would move
into level 2 while Dave
