Square as well as West,
Hamilton and Kingston
Streets.
Work ont• that portion of the
project was completed shortly
before Christmas and handed
over to Brussels draftsman Bob
Pearson, for completion 'of step
number two, a set of elevation
drawings made from the
photographs.' Mr. Pearson will
also be' at Friday's meeting td

Up the business core as"well as

unit. .y
In an interyiew Mr. Marlatt
estimated that it would take
between four and five weeks to
complete the color scheme
'proposals.
"I'll be dedicating my full
•tune to that work," he ex-
' plainedl, .,"and providing all
goes veli' five'-wecksi' should -
wrap it up."
The most time consuming
part of the work; he explained,
would be rne'etings with
representativ of the selected
paint c pang to revie;;
sugggs ' s and establish the
• hest ailable colors, the type
of int and cost consideration.
John Schaeffer, on beiiair'o'l'r"

said he expected a decision to
be made at tomorrow's meeting
with regard to selecting . the
paint company to become in-
volved in the „project..He'said,
invitations had ,been sent to
seven 'different companies.
•• a
Mr. 'Marlatt went on to tex-
plain that the color scheme will
be kept to ae few colors as
possible.
"Anywhere the brick can be
left," he noted, "and just the
trim painted, I will recommend
that' procedure be followed. In
some cases I might recommend
that in place of painting, the
brick work be repointed and.
possibly cleaned chemically
since . painting might prove
more costly than cleaning.'' .

done -on the elevation drawings
