What Christmas
Means. to Me
Christmas to me, means
world wide peace for people of
every race, creed,, or colour. It
is a time when even the worst
of enemies put aside their hates
to celebrate this - joyous oc-
casion. It is a time to celebrate
and to spread good cheer
among our fellow men. We
decorate our houses, schools
and offices, so that the season
of Christmas is everywhere in
sight. People go out caroling,
on sleigh rides, and on other
family outings.
.. 'When we were little we used
to count - the days until Christ-
mas with great excitement but
there was a lot of things to do
before it came. We had to go
out in the hush and find a
suitable tree. Then we had to
decorate ,it with all kinds of
decorations. We also had to fix
up the house with all kinds of 4
things like balls, ribbons, and
cards. Taking turns wrapping
presents was great fun, and it
was a delight to see all the
presents placed under the tree.
The stockings were hung over
the fireplace and all the kids
were ready for bed earlier than
we usually went. We always
put a treat out for old Saint
Nick and in the morning it was
always gone. Then we'd get up
at the crack of dawn and sneak
downstairs to peek ifi our
stockings. Before mass we were
only allowed to open one
present and we usually opened
the biggest one.The Christmas
dressing, cranberry sauce,
potatoes and gravy, and plum
pudding. There would usually
be about fifteen people for din-
ner which made for quite a
crowd.
It is very nice to give presents
and receive them, but the real
reason for Christmas is to
remember the birth of Christ,
and that is what Christmas is
really like.

A Wonderful Day
The lights are bright,'
The snow, is light,
Everyone's happy and gay.
People are singing,
Bells are ringing,
Again it is Christmas Day:
Dogs are barking,
People are walking
While their shopping they do,
Children are playing,
Everyone's staying,
For the Christmas feast, are
_you?

Peace on Earth -
Goodwill to all Men
what these words mean to
me is love all men like
brothers. In the world today no
one acts like brothers thats why
there's fighting and wars. If wee,
could all try our hardest to love
our brothers like we would like
them to love us the the world
would be a better place in
which to live in. COME ON
LET'S TRY.
