The children went to school when they were healthy enough. Qne day the children were walking home frotn . chool • when five of the meanest kids in town ,stopped them. They ripped up their school books, 'took their hats, then kicked theta and ran off. The frightened children ran home as fast as they could. - After school the next day the other children pushed them around and teased them. because. they were too poor to buy good clothing: When they got home they blamed each other for making the kids at stchool hate them. This was when they started to fight. Shoes were flying through ' he air, food was thrown at meals and soon none of the brothers or sisters liked each other. They wouldn't play together or even go near one an.)ther. That night (Christmas Eve) an. angel .appeared before the family. She said to them "Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Men," then she explained what it meant. When she left there was Christmas gifts for everyone, new clothes, and best - of- all she left food and their mother w s Netter again. y Debbie Shaddick Grade 7 Robertson School 'r t' ' r'! 110 F 'tom' ' '.O•• •• II„:0 • •.; .......•...1 I •. , THE MANAGEMENT AND STAFF OF TUCKEY BEVERAGES WISH YOU & YOURS 9 , LTD.
