SUNCOAST ESTATES
ATOM ALL-STARS
The Suncoast Suns came up
with two victories in W.O.A.A.
play last week, defeating Zurich
3-2 in Zurich on Wednesday,
and shutting out Seaforth 5-0
here Saturday.
The victories give the Suns.a
record of three wins and no
losses in league play. .
The Suns were hard-pressed
to come out of Zurich with a
victory. Trailing a stlrong
Zurich squad 2-0 at the end -of
two periods, the Suncoast
Estate team scored three times
in the third period to eke out a
win.
Larry Kelly scored two goals
for the Suns, including the win-
ner with just 30 seconds
remaining in the game. John
Huff and Mark Rowe assisted
on the winning goal, while
Randy Graham set up Kelly's
first counter.
The other Goderich goal was
scored by David Eastwood,
with assists going to Robbie
Kisch and Willie Denomme.

Charlie Collins and Jim
Willert.
The Suns' shutout over
Seaforth saw them give their
best effort of the season so far.
The Suns passed well and
checked well- throughout the
game, scoring twice in the first
two periods and once in the
third to wrap up their 5-0 win.
Goalies 1Robert Cummings
and Jim MacDonald shared the
shutout in the Sun's net.
Larry Kelly again scored
twice for the Suns.
Defencemen Duane Elliott
and Alan Bakker each scored
once, - and --- ce-ntre- -Willie-
Denomme, who played a strong
game, ,got the other goal.
Randy Graham, .Mark Rowe
and David Eastwood picked up
assists:
The game saw the use of a
new system by coach Richard
Madge using three complete
units of five players, so that the
same forwards are always on
the ice with the same defen-
cemen. This allows a better
coordinated attack since the
players get to work together
each time they are on the ice.
Tuesday the Suns travelled.
to Seaforth for a return match
with the Optimites. This Satur-
day Zurich plays here at 6:30
against Suncoast Estates. This
should be a good, close game if
last week's game in Zurich is
any indication.
