CWL finalizes plan
for annual rule Fair
The November meeting of St.
Peter's Catholic Women's
League took the form of a pot-
luck supper followed by the
business meeting.
A good representation of
members enjoyed the meal and
then participated in discussion
,non .the up -corning Christmas
Fair and Tea*. Ladies were
asked to 'take tickets to sell
chances on an attractive hand-
knit afghan which will be
drawn for at the Fair.
Preparations for the Fair are
progressing satisfactorily.
An interesting conclusion to
the meeting was a report on the
recent Pro -Life demonstration
in Ottawa, given ,hy Mrs. Con-
nie Osborn. •
A group of five or six mem-.,,
hers of that group joined they
bus tour organized to travel to e
the nation's capital to learn
more about the work being
carried on by the Pro -Life.,
Group.
