An • autumn wedding took
place in the Exeter Pentecostal
Church when (;race Darlene

Communion service.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride -wore a (Town of
white Iagoda crepe, .• empirt-
waist styled,. The. bodice. w as
trimmed With chantilly lace
and satin. The high neckline
full bishop sleeves and full
skirt were trimrned with niat-
chir3g lace and sa tin. The
fullness in the back fell into a
cathedral train'. The bridal cap
was of matching lagoda crepe
trimmed with ,,satin and lace
edged with .pearls. Her long
full-length pure silk illusion
veil was edged with matching
lace. The bride carried a
cascade bouquet of one dozen
yellow ,roses, white carnations,
stephanotis and ivy. .
Maid of honor was Marilyn 'a.
Wall, St. Thomas. Bridesmaids
were Joy Thomson, sister of the
bride,' Kathryn Hall, Exeter,
and Rut „Thomson, sister of
the bride.
They were dressed alike in
mint green. Swiss styled gowns
with long ,full sleeves. The em-
broidered bodices fell into long
full skirts. They wore matching
lithe Swiss caps and carried
baskets of gold and rust daisy
mums and oak leaves
highlighted by orange star
flowers.
Lori Lynn. Wagner, Exeter,
was the fiowergirl and wore a
floor -length mint green Swiss
style dress similar to the other
attendants gowns, accented
with a white eyelet pinafore.

and carried a small hasket of
?lowers.

Goderich. Ushers were Norman
Thomsen,

The wedding dinner and

green crepe tIn ir-length gown
with white accessories and;, a
corsage of pink rosehuids. The

sleeveless floor -length gown of
pink floral nylon sheer over
shrimp -c• d red silk with white
accessories and a c orsa r4...nr4f,-.

Atter the reception the c(iuple
left for a honeymoon in the
Btue Ridge Mountains of
Virginia. For travelling the
hride wore..a chocolate brown
dress with tan accessuriEes and
a corsage. of daisies and yellow
startle w7er.
The hride is rtdaughter of
Nir. and Mrs. Garfield Thnh-
son, Exeter, and the groom is
the only sten of Mrs. John Lind-
say and the late Sheldon Bax-
ter, Goderich.
Prior to' the wedding. the
bride was honored with
showers given by Mrs. Morene
Kerr, Mrs. Lenore Bradley and
Mrs. Joyce Stothers, .Exeter
Pentecostal Church; Mrs.
Esther Hall and Kathryn Hall
and- the staff of St, Thomas -
Elgin General Hospital.
The bride is a graduate of
Perth -Huron Regional School
of Nursing and is on the staff of
St. Thomas -Elgin General
Hospital.

Snell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Snell of R.R. 1, Bayfield,
