Slywchuk of the Federal Depar- tment of Public Works who has written to council requesting a meeting to tour the harbor area iv connection with the. catwalk rtlocat ion. In receiving the minutes of the Goderich Industrial Com- mission, i-ounci1 members lear- ned the "Town Engineer will be Instructed to prepare a plan of subdivision for Industrial Park. Councillor ,Dave Gower `noted he hoped the Industrial Commission would give con- sideration- to provision of some small parcels of land for cer- tain industries who may not need such large portions of property. Jeffery Austin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Austin was released from the Winghan>i and District General Hospital on Thursday of laSt week, having spent eight days .there with double pneumonia. His sister, Darlene was admitted to the same hospital on Monday, October 15 with pneumonia. Mrs. Jim Gilmore spent -the past week in London and visited her sister, a patient in Victoria Hospital. Mr. and Mrs.. Jim Martin and faintly spent the weekend in Brantford with her mother Mrs. Jim Quinlan. On Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Martin attended a dinner and dance in huni`►ur of the 20th reunion celebrations of the St. Johns Girls Drum Corps of which Pat was a former member. Several ladies from this area attended the Trinity United Church Fall Thankoffering on tiunday evening, October 21 and enjoyed slides shown by Reverend Barrie Passmore of his recent trip to- the - Holy Land.
