will line up at the
right guard spot instead of at
fullback. The line has size and
quickness, according- to coach
Donnelly.
In the backfield, Tom
O'Brien has moved from full-

Doug Fisher returns at left
halfback and Dave Mclvor at
fullback, although Mclvor will
be out with a shoulder injury
for four wegks., Joe O'Keefe

and Larry Donnelly* will bill
Gary Allen's old halfback spot.
The big rebuilding job facing
coach Donnelly is on defence,
with only five of last ;year's
starting defence returning.
Tough defensive play has
been a characteristic' of Viking
teams in the past, so it is
around the returnees that Don-

returns at defensive 'end along
with Jim Durst, while Tim
McGee at defensive tackle,
Murray Haggitt at middle
linebacker and Casey Wildgen
at defensive, halfback are the
other returnees.
The junior Vikings, under
coaches Phil Bugler and Bill
Garrow, had a record turnout
of over 60 candidates at
training camp. Many of those
turning out were first year can-
didates, but the coaches report
that good size is one quality

mime duty at halfback.
Three captains, O'Brien, Ar-

selected, while a game captain
will be added, selected on the
play in the previous game by
his teammates.
-Coach Bugler hopes' to at
least match last year's perfor-

HINT: Tommy Aanon says
on long putts: "Cut the putt in
half - on a Orly footer stand
twenty feet and visualize the
roll to the cup. The ball will be
rolling slower 'and be more
prone to break. It's easier to as-
sess a twenty footer, and your
feel for the putt will be better."
