For the--artrttrs, there—was a Bingo game during the evening with prizes ranging from key - cases to purses being given out to the winners. There were prizes for everything which were donated h • local merchants who won -praise from organizers--for-their generosity. Prior 'to the• carnival, many mNrchants allowed the playground staff to- place posters of the. event in their 'tore windows.
