JULY 19..1978 The sound of the pipes filled -Harbour Park Sunday night as visitors to the park were treated to a concert of Scottish music. The Kitchener Legion Pipe Band under the direction of Pipe Major Will Bowen performed. The concert was just one of a series of Sunday Right performances held at the park.' (Staff Photo) Elm Haven arrest A Goderich girl was senten- ced to five days in jail and four.. other youths face 16 other charges as a result of a scuffle outside the Elm Haven Motor Motel on the outskirts of Clin- ton early,,las( Thursday mor- ning in which six polcemen were called'in. Susan Godfrey of Goderich was convicted last Friday of assaulting a police officer, ob- structing a police officer, and causing a disturbance. She was sentenced to five days in jail. Four other Huron County youths, whose names were not released by police, face another 16 charges including assaulting a policrWeficer, obstructing a police officer, causing a distur- bance, and possession of nar- cotics.' Four Clinton police and two OPP officers from Goderich Detachment were required to quell the disturbance, and one OPP officer required medical attention after being struck during the melee.
