Eight area young people
working on Project S.N.A.P.
(Students working in nursing-
home activity program) begin
the project in the Goderich
region July 3.
S.N.A.P. is part of Ontario's
Experience '73 summer work
program and is operated by the
Youth Secretariate under the
supervision of the Honourable
Margaret Birch.
The purpose of the program
is to provide social and
recreational outlets for elderly
citizens in selected nursing
homes.
Brian Miller, a fourth year

sity of Western Ontario, is co-
ordinating the program from
his home in Wingham and with
the help of personnel at
Goderich Psychiatric Hospital. -
The area high school
students who are assisting him
are Joan Allen of Woodham,
Adrienne Van Raay of Dash-
wood, Joanne De Groot of
Seaforth, Olga Zemitis of Clin-
ton and Mary Gregg, Jan
Green, Nina Knight and Jody
Cox all of Goderich.
The team- is canvassing focal
merchants for possible activity
articles and appreciate all such
donations that could be used in
the program.

cottage for a pot luck supper.

County of Huron; also property owners
in the Townships of Ashfield, Colborne,

Stanley, Tuckersmith,
Usborne, East Wawanosh and West Wa-
wanosh, in the County of Huron; also
property owners in the Towns of Clinton,

Act, 1972, Section 4, 14 and 20 and amendments

in taxes, as set out in the Act.
