Ni ROUND AND' ABOUT WITH MARINA
I've had several calls re: To change the subject, The
ART MART, have Bedard Store on Britannia Rd
has one new shoe that someone
lost a few weeks ago - and
never uteamed of asking at the
store fu, it.Ten to one the other
shoe has been thrown out - any
takers?
I'm not sure if the Anglican
Church Ladies are having their
suppers during Art Mart, but I
can tell you 'later about that.
So any who are still on the
fence about Summer Fest '73 -
make up your'mind - Let's GO-
GO -GO.
Leve
Martha
so many
been given the impression that
there will not be one, but Art
Mart -with all the activities now
associated with it wilt appear
under the main heading of
Goderich Sumfner Fest '73.
Besides the arts and crafts
sections many others have been
suggested and since this is the
ideal time to raise money for
your winter project, the girls of
Beta Sigma Phi Sorority have
chosen to run the "Flea
Market".
This sounds exciting, but
they, need some help, YOUR
help - in saving up enough
household discards or white
elephants or whatever - for the
event.
'The money they raise has
always been well spent in com-
munity work so you will be
really helping for a good cause.
What one person' -throws
away as of no use, there is
always someone who could use
it. So -I hope you'll help them
raise the dimes and quarters
which can add up to useful
dollars.
Mrs. (Brian' Allison Dowds
(phone 524-7513 - in the mor-
nings) will arrange to have
your bits and pieces picked up.
So set aside a box especially
for this for one month - and we
will all be pleasantly surprised.
1 hope the Jr. Farmer Girls
plan another Bake Sale. They
KNOW how fast baked goods
sell - and how much people en-
joy this part of the show. So
any of you ambitious bakers get
things ready as there is a good
fasrmarket for your goods.
You may have other ideas for
these special days so lets hear
them - anyway you're pretty
safe in preparing to market
your spare hour hobby at this
great MART.
Once again beautiful "Flower
Festival" will be held in the
Courthouse halls and this year
the theme "Conservation" con-
jures up all kinds of great
ideas.,..,.
The Carnival, Bingo and
games Kinette Cafe' or Kafay
will be in the park, and many
other bits of entertainment are
planned.
