had a low number of par-
ticipants this year. Roger Wells
made a clean sweep of the 100,
220 and 440 yard runs. The
open 880 event was also won by
Wells with Gary Bowers
placing second and Ian Austin
taking third.
In the Midget Boys' field.
events the long jttmp was won
by Larry McGee with second
going to Stuart Crew and third
to Ed Turton. Turton was =the
winner of the. triple jump with
Kevin Budny capturing second
and Brian Nouse ,taking third.
The High jump was wort by
Mike Hodge with Randy Stod-
dart and David -Stephenson
placing second and third
respectively.
Scott Williams was the win-
ner. of the Junior Boys' long
jump event. Second place went
to Gary Bowers and third to
Chris Wood. John Brown
placed first in the triple jump
while second went to Rodney
Graham and third to Chris
Wood. Wood went on to pick up
a first in ,the High jump while
Gary Bowers placed second
and Randy Little third.
The Intermediate Boys' long
jump was won by Danny
McLean with Ken Carrick get-
ting second and Tim Brooks
receiving third. Danny McLean
also placed first in the triple
jump. Second went to Ken
Carrick and third to Tim
Brooks. The high. jump event
was won by Brooks with second
going to Ken Carrick.
In the Midget Girls' class,
Jennifer- Harper turned in an
outstanding performance
picking up four first place 'rib-
bons and two seconds in six
events.
The 101.) yard dash was won
by Jennifer with Judy Godfrey
taking second and Mary Lynn
Pagon third. It was Harper
again winning theji 153$ yard
dash. Second went to Linda
Fee and third to Tracey
MacEwan. The 440 yard 'run
was won by Mary Lynn Pagon
with second going to Jennifer
Harper and third to Susan Hor-
ton.
The Junior Girls' 100 yard
dash winner was Lori Thomp-
son. Debbie Melick was second
and Cheryl Jardine was third.
It was Lori Thompson again as
she picked up the winner's rib-
bon in the 150 yard dash.
Second was Debbie Melick and
third Mary Jane Erskine.
- The 440 yard run winner was
tori Thompson* with second
going to Cheryl Jardine and
third to Debbie Melick.
In the Intermediate Girls'
track events, it was Lavern.
Burnett all the way as she
placed first in all three events.
Cheryl Marshall was second in
those events.
Judy Bowers was the 10Q
yard dash winner in the Senior
Girls' division with second
going to Linda Overholt. In the
150 yard dash it was Bowers
placing first again with
Overholt second. The situation
reversed however as Linda won
the 440 with Judy placing
second.
In the Midget Girls' Field
events, Jennifer Harper con-
tinued her domination as she
won the long jump. Second was
Mary Lynn Pagon and third
went to Jennifer More.

was won by Debbie Melick with
second going to Lori Thompson
and third to Debbie Shaddick.
Shaddick placed first in the
triple jump ,.while Melick and
,Thompson carne in second and
third respectively.
The high jump winner was
Cheryl Jardine with Donelda
Smith' 'picking up second and
Laurie Elliott coming third.
Laverne Burnett completed
her domination of the track
and field day by winning all of
the Intermediate Girls' field.

The Midget Girls' long jump
event was won by Bonnie Reid
with second going to Lori
MacKay and third to Joanne
Whetstone. In the triple jump
event, Lori MacKay was the
winner with Bonnie Reid
placing second and Vicki King
corning third. The high jump
winner in the Midget Girls'
class was Lori MacKay. Second
was picked up by Bonnie Reid
and third, went to Lori Mar-
shall. .
In the Junior Girls' 'field
events, Denise Mitchelmore
picked up two firsts. The long
jump was won by Mitchelmore
with second going to Pani Lam-
bert and third to Linda Diehl.
The triple jump was also won
by Mitchelmore with Lambert
picking up second and Vicky
Powell . getting third. In the
Junior -high jump, Pain Lam
Bert placed first and Anne
McDonald second
Intermediate Girls' long
jump winner was Carol Chap-
man with Linda Melick taking,
second and Susan Jeffrey
placing third. Jeffrey also
placed first In the triple -jump.
Second in the event went to
Judy Fisher and third to Linda
Melick. It was` Jeffrey taking
first again in the Irltermediate
Girls' high jump. Second was
Joni Thompson and third went
to Carol Chapman.
