People from 4rl,y areas of the country clJurrt on the pleasure of Art Mart which also has the merchants with their Sidewalk Shopping, the Kinsmen entertainment car- nival, Bingo etc. I'rn not sure about the Flower Festival but it has always been a beautiful attrac- tion. The many other facets that go to make Art Mart the big success it has grown to be, will still be there and. al'tho' it will all be included in the'Sum- mer Festival Days which will be taking in that' -whole week, the chances to sell your arts and crafts and show your hob- bies is still going to be available. Many players took advantage of the beautiful day to play eighteen holes for Pin Day. In the First Flight, the win- ner was Marie Huff; followed by Maxine Martin and Verna Jackson. The winner of the Second Flight was Jean Knight, followed by Chris Hoffmeyer, and Sally MacEwan. Dorothy Worgan led the Third Flight winners, followed by Ruth Clancy, Jane Deathe, and Muriel Murphy. There were two hidden hole prizes which were won by Ber- tha McGee and Ginger Shor- treed. FROM Mrs. J.A. Seaman, President of St. George's branch of the Anglican Church Women, presen- ted a cheque for nearly $2,800 to church warden, Tim Elliott, right, and the rector, Canon G.G. Russell last Sunday. The bulk of the money has been raised through projects during the last few years and is designated for the restoration of the murals In the church. The parish is concluding a "Campaign for an additional $15,000 for the renovation of buildings. This will Include Interior and exterior painting, lighting Improvements, rectory decoration and an overhaul for the church organ. Don Mitchelmore proved to' be the big winner, followed by Bob Shrier, Ross Patterson, Brian Lynch and Bill Huff. The men have their Scotch two -ball tournament all lined up, with 27 teams. The first round must be played by June 28. Please have your game played by then. I understand there is something very exciting about tills! The Men's Inter -club will be held in Wingham on Sunday, and there is still room for about seven more players. Let Karl Campbell or Art Mount- ford know, if you are interested. In the last one, the Goderich team did very well - let's keep it up boys!
