5.30 A.M. to begin the long, but
exciting trip to Ottawa,.
It took five cars to get the
students and luggage to Strat-
ford where they would hoard
the train to 'Toronto.
The five drivers were Mr.
Hund, Mr and Mrs. Wisser,
Miss Stenlp, Mrs Edgar, and
Mr Pure
It was it long trip to us

night and everyone staved up
late looking for her When she
was finally found we returned ,

Next morning refreshed and
reconditioned we set out for the
Parliament Buildings When
we arrived we were met by (air
,M.P. Representative, Bob
McKinley. Mr. McKinley then
excused himself and left us to
our guide to tour the
parliament.
We visited such places as the
"House of Commons,'' the
Senate's Chambers, and library
which at the time contained
;300,000 hooks, We were infor-
med by our guide that there

We t'h'en rejoined Mr
McKinley and he took ,1.1s up to
his office where he treated us to
a lunch, We had a discus�t,,n
with htrn on the happenings of
the parliament. We then went
to the House' of Commons
where we sat m on 0 session of
parliament
After leaving the Parliament
Buildings we split up into,
groups and went to different
scenic attractions. We met at
the "Y" and stayed there until
it was time to board our bus to
Ottawa Station.•L,ate that night
we started on our train lournev
