DURNIN: In loving memory of a
dear son and brother Donald Digo
nin who passed away suddenly two
years ago May 3, 1971.
A cluster of precious memories
Sprayed with a million tears
Wishing God could have spared you
If only a few more years
You left a beautiful memory
In sorrow too great to be told
But to us who loved you and lost
you
Your memory will never grow old.
Lovingly remembered aiad sadly
missed by Dad, Mom, brothers and
sister artd families. -18

MITCHELL: In loving memory of a
dear brother, Robert Mitchell, who
passed away three years ago, May
7, 1970.
There's a gift in life You cannot buy,
That's very rare and true
It's the gift of a wonderful brother,
Like the one we had in you.
The many things you gave, dear
Bob
In your sweet and loving way,
You gave us years of happiness.
No one can take away
If teardrop could build a stairway,
And memories were a lane. ")
I would walk all the way to heaven,
Bob
And bring you home again.
Dearly loved and deeply missed by

Operation HOSCAD, the code name for a Western Ontario Hospital's disaster plan prac-
tice, was carried out last week at Wingham and Seaforth. The simulated disaster dictated
that high winds had struck the. area causing numerous Injuries and knocking some
hospitals out of operation, among them the Goderich Alexandra Marine and General
Hospital. Staff at Wingham and Seaforth were therefore brought both injury victims and
hospital transfers. Students from F.E. Madill Secondary School in Wingham'played the part
of the injured for the Wingham Exercises and here staff at that hospital examine the in-
coming patients. The students were made up to simulate the injuries they were to have
received. (staff photo) -

The first time you start get-
ting back into the groove,
you're bound. to get
discouraged. Don't forget, it
was a long winter and
naturally it will take awhile to
get back into the swing of
things. You've got some very
pleasing games coming up
because you'^re going to play
your best golf yet. Remember --
each year you improve= -
knocking off a few, more
strokes.
- You probably noticed the
white flags flying at full mast
over the weekend. This in-
dicates the back nine is now
open.
The whole course looks temp-
ting with the emerald greens
and the freshly mown, smooth
fairways that have been rolled
in the past weeks. These.
frequent 'spring rains have
given the course a bright
refreshing look.
- Golfers, have an eye for those
three thousand new seedling,
trees which were planted last
year. Through the season,
watch them grow.
Don't forget the commen-
cement of Men's and Ladies'
Night, around the middle of
May. There will be a buffet in-
cluded. Notice, the nights have
been changed. This year Men's
night will be Monday and
Ladies' night Wednesday.
"Girls" start thinking of some
brilliant ideas to give- us a few
laughs after the golf ._game.
,Bring. a friend --the more the
merrier.
Juniors , we haven't forgotten
you. In tate near future there
will be a night or Saturday
mornings set aside for you. Golf
tips will be available.
Watch for the big Seasonal
Opening in the middle of Mdy.
We'll have to keep our fingers
crossed for favourable weather.
This year we have a Club
Mascot--Bunker--a Labrador
retriever. Don't worry golfers --
he's friendly.
I was back to work for the
first time, this season, last Sun!
day. I was glad to see our faith-
ful members back for another
year and I send out a big
welcome to any new ones.
