Charlie MacDonald finally
lost a game!!
in Level 1 semi-finals
Reinhardt Voelmle played
superbly to win the second
game of the best of three semi-
final series against Charlie
MacDonald. The series is now
tied one game apiece. Charlie •
.had previously played 36 garnes
without a Toss or even a tie.
Also in Level 1 Jim Weary
bounced back to win the second
game against - "Clarke Teal and
tie the series with a win apiece.
In Level 2 quarter -finals Jim
Kingsley and Glen W.ig,itman,
played three and a half hours
with neither player managing
to obtain a clear advantage.
This game will he ccont,inued
-April 25. This series is presen-
tly tied at one game apiece.
The winner will meet Kirk
Lyndon in semi-final play and ,
the semi-final winner will go on
to play Tom McGill in the
finals.
In Level 3 semi-finals Dennis
Little defeated Glen Falkiner
two games to one and will now
meet Harold Kloeze in the best -
of -three finals.
In Level 4 finals Rick
Kingsley and John Scanlan
battled to a stalemate in the
first game of their best -of -three
series.
Once again congratulations
to Reinhardt Voelmle • who in
defeating Charlie MacDonald
achieved what the entire club
failed to do all season.
However, we are sure that
Charlie will see that Reinhardt
will have a tough time
duplicating this feat to win the
series.
