Matthie, of Brockville, is vire-president of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture. The price increase .was demanded by the Canadian Federation of Agriculture and the Dairy Fanners of ('ansilo. "It will be made up of a com- bination of modest increases in cheese, hutter and skim milk powder prices, plus '_'l) cents a hundredweight from .the Canadian Dairy ('omnlissiort," said Matthie. Milk producer Delmer B nett of Foresters Falls, sa the increase was needed t combat rising costs. "Labour, fertilizer, petroleum, hydro, grain, protein, and other production costs have not just climbed. hut jumped, in recent months,'' says Bennett.
