the CALIFORNIA CUTIES are
coming to town and they are
always on the lookout for new
and invigorating head piece; to
add to their wardrobes.
The •California° Cuties ytill
play the .GDCI All-Star basket-
ball team tomorrow (Friday) at
the GDCI Aruditoriuni with
game time set for 7:30
The Cuties, are a fun -loving
hunch wanderers performing
on the basketball court for the
8 straight -season. However, the
original club was a'men's soft -
hall squad that travelled the
width and breadth of the coun-
'try attired in ladie,'garments,
facing topnotch men's clubs in
all parts of the country. In fact,
the scsftball replica made a trip
to Japan as guests of the State
Department several years ago
and fans flocked to the parks to
' watch them in action
the -basketball -court; the•--
Cuties feature their lanky
Dinah Sore. She stands 6 feet, 7
inches in her stocking feet and
rebounds everything in sight ...
unless she turns the job over to
her sidekick, Dumpy Dora and
goes roaming. -
'Those .who have witnessed
the Cuties in action in other
parts of the country proclaim
them as the- greatest novelty
basketball team of all time. In
addition to their antics on the
hardwoods while dressed in
ladies' garments.
And while the game is in
progress, don't. be surprised at
anything as the Cutie Cutups,
Rebound Rtiby and Little
Susie, -may call time out in the
middle of a shot by a teammate
(or an opponent, more
logically) to stage another of
their wild comedy routines.
Remember, the California
Cuties will appear at 'the GDCI
Auditorium against the GDCI
Angels tomorrow with 'game
time at7:30p.m.. •
