Carnival time is fast ap-
proaching once again for mem-
bers of thg Goderich Figure
Skating Club. This year the
carnival is a little later than
usual, so far those who are
anxious by wondering about it -
relax, it is only three weeks
away!
Routines are diligently. being
worked on by both the skaters
and the club professionals.
, Costumes for both the Junior
and Senior carnivals are ready.
This year the themes 'are the„
Wizard of Oz for the Juniors
and Anna at the Court of Siam
for the Seniors. -Much work has
gone into. the design, of both the
sets and the costumes anti are
certain to dazzle the spectators
more than ever.

climax as, the Goderich Figure Skating Club prepares for -its
annual skating carnival, "Ice -nicks '73." This' group of
skaters rehearse one of several group routines which will be

Since April 1960 Lake On-
tario levels have been con-
trolled in accordance with an
approved plan of regutition
which calls for weekly flow
changes ' in the discharge of
water through the St. Lawrence
River power works. The plan is
designed to improve conditions

used to provide all possible
relief in the present circum-
stances. Notwithstanding the
beneficial effects that have ac-'
crued and may yet be obtained
by utilizing the pla-n of
regulation, there is, still a better

tinuous review of the situation

formatipn to the public as
future water supply trends
