CHRISTM.AS AS AN ANT
Christmas day I was sitting
out in the backyard tinkering
with my Christmas 'gift, a
chemistry set when it exploded.
I woke up in a strange glass
tube like thing.
I took a good look around me-
and
eand noticed that I was in one of
my 'own test tubes! I was-
smalleY,Aothan an ant. I ran
down the test tube and looked
out of the mouts of it. It was• a
long way down to the ground.
Reaching over I. grakied a
bl'ad of grass and slid down the
piece of grass. I reached • the
ground with a bone shattering
thud and walked down a.wide
path to a big hole in the
ground. As I glanced down the
hole I heard a noise coming
from within the hole. '
All of a sudden 'a huge ant
came out of the hole and nearly
knocked me over. I ran as fast'

as my mineature legs could
run. Then I looked around to
see if the ant w!as following me
but it wasn't',`o I walked on to
see what I could find.
I came upon a large peace of
bread. I sat down and started
to eat the bread. All of a sud-
den there was a giant bird
whiched looked about to use
me for it's lunch.
All of a sudden I had a
strong feeling, and I, grew back
to my normal size and was now
safe.
Next year I would like
something safe for. Christmas
