Signed, Santa Claus )t Welt, 'it took me till 1 o'clock at night to get them going but I did. it I'll never forget the first house 1 went to. In the first place, the chimney was so small 1 had to pick the lock on .the front door. Once inside, I was greated by a very unfriendly' dog who simply went CHOMP. And I simply wend Ouch! . The next house I went ,to'left a fire going, and I had to ,.squeeze in through the basement window. 1 went up :the stairs and,. there sat a table with `cookie—and milk. I lost. four. teeth in the cookies and got indigestion from the milk. Every house I went to was the same. I was either bitten by a dog, 'scratched by a cat, or by a fire. In one house I went to a Christmas tree fell on me. When I . was flying over Russia, Ruldulph's nose went out. Let me tell you, Santa Claus has no easy job. Philip Main, Robertson. If I were Santa Claus I .would_be a jolly person. I r would be on TV for two weeks ~to rad letters to people who sent letters to me. When Christ- mas night came, jolly old Santa ClauS'would come sliding down the chimmey and place presents , under the tree. I would fill the stockings up with candy for the children. Mrerry. . I would fill It's the year 25004, .By this time, the earth has become very sophisticated. Man has learned how to live on -very, -distant planets such as Venus, Saturn and even Pluto. According to earth time, it is now Christmas. Now, imagine, you are Santa Claus. You have now got a Mercury Charger transport rocket. Your factory occupies one quarter of the world. Instead of elves, you have got over 1,000,000 ern- ployees. At Christmas, you j, have finished your•rounnda on Earth. Imagine, you now have over ,five billion people te` fieliveir toys to. Imagine epace`dog fly* around 'with little jet packs on their backs. But, there is more to coime! What of Pluto, Venus, Mars• and Saturn? You still have them to go to. Space dogs and vats. What of the other animals. that they have found up 'there?. Flecata, rnonkeymen and snakerichea. And 'there►"s more! But up •there, Chlristrnas vorafs but every fortyeight years. Santa has got a!ot ahead of him. So if you. think he has a lot to do now! Just sit dowb and, think what, it's.<goiig °to be lila six hundred years ``from how.
