'needy family from the
Children's Aid Society. This
will be a Christmas -time ven-
ture and Margaret Jean Craig
will be in charge of the
donations.
The annual Christmas din-
ner will be held at the home of
Sandy Rompf.
Be sure to bring your "Secret
Sister" Christmas gift, girls,
and it should prove to be an
evening of fun and merriment.)
Barb Moss introduced the
speaker, Mrs. Bonnie Graham,
in chargeof the Queen
Elizabeth School in Goderich.
Her' topic concerning the retar-
ded child in the community was
enlightening and inspiring. A
lively question period followed.
Lunch was ' served at the
close of the meeting.
Bridge scores
There were five tables in play
at the Goderich Duplicate
Bridge Club on Tuesday,
December 5.

Senior Citizens enjoy
fine Christmas dinner
On Wednesday evening,
December 6, the Goderich•
Senior Citizens met at Victoria
St. Church for their annual
Christmas banquet of turkey
and all .the trimmings which
was enjoyed by all. •
They returned to MacKay
'Hall for the election of officers.
Mr. Berryman acted as chair-
man. Elected were: 'president,
Mr. W. Snyder; 1st vice
president, Mr. • Peter Gagel;
seconl vice president, Mr.
Berryman; secretary, Mrs,' E.
Cooper; assiFting secretary,.
Mrs. Salter, treasurer, Mr.
Finlay, press secretary, Mrs.
Miller.
After • election of officers, a
social hour was spent playing
games. The next meeting is on
December 20 with exchange of

Mr. and Mrs. Russell John-
stonhad a lovely- day on Sun-
day when Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Johnston and seven children of
London came bringing. a . full
course Christmas meal with
them, With seven grand -
'children and exchange of gifts
it was a happy day.
Mr. and Mrs. H.J.L. Eedy ac-
companied by. Ross Eedy
visited the former's sister, Mrs.
Russell Ribey in Stratford
General Hospital, on Tuesday,.
December 5.
The annual Sunday School
banquet was held Friday
evening followed by a short
program,. This is always a real
treat for the children.
On Sunday as part of the
regular church service the S.S.
classes presented a program in..
keeping with 'White Gift Sun-
day. The envelopes which were
placed in the white gift box end
the . ,loose collection on the
plats made a gift of $67.05 to
go to Children's Aid at
Goderich.
Mrs: J.M. Reed, convener,
reports the Bible Society can-
vass completed and $177.45 has
been sent to headquarters. The
work of each of the canvassers
has been appreciated.
Next Sunday, December 17,
the Dungannon and Nile
C.G.I.T. groups are presenting
a Christmas Vesper Service at
Nile church at 8 p.m. A good
attendance will show our in-
terest in these groups within
our churches.
Mrs. Cecil. Blake and Bar-
bara were dinner guests of Mr.
and Mrs. R.T. Kilpatrick and
Mrs. A.N. Atkinson. Mrs. Har-
vey Webb was a guest ,also.

class. Announcements and of-
fering followed with a poem, of

teachers took their gifts to the
