Kryc- zca, president of the Canadian Aniateur Hockey Association and John H. Coleman, deputy chairman and executive vice- president of the Royal Bank of Canada. • The 15 -game, total points tournament will run from Dec. 26 to Jaa. 6 and will include six teams from the four leading hockey nations of the world: Canada, Russia; Czechoslovakia and Sweden. The Russian and Czechoslovakian teams will in- clude players who participated in the recent, Russia -Team Canada series. All games games will be played in Ontario, with Kingston, ' Galt and Owen Sound host to four gameseach and Toronto, Barrie and. Kitchener home to one each. Mr. • Kryczka said the inter- national tournament would be the first between established clubs played in this country. "It is going to be a very ex- citing tournament, and if it at - •tracts anything like the atten- tion it deserves, ,there is every reason to hope it will be repeated' in future `years," he said. Competing teams, all,, of which are to play one another once dur„ing.the tournament, in- clude thee' 'tmraa Hockey Club of Sweden;',Prague Hockey Club of 'Czechoslovak'ia, and Moscow Dynamos of the USSR, plus the Kingston Aces, Owen Sound Downtowners, and Galt Hor- nets of the Ontario Senior A Hockey League. The visiting -teams will also play exhibition games in Brant- ford, Belleville and Orillia. The Royal Bank of Canada, in addition to sponsoring the tournament will award trophies, to the winning team and individual chosen as the most valuable player during the tournament. - Mr. Coleman said he was especially pleased many of the games would be played` outside metropolitan areas in Ontario. Vic Pope, the owner, this year, as in the past, has 'generously donated hockey pucks to Minor. Hockey and' the Goderich -Minor 'Hockey Association ap- pteciates this gesture. Goderich received four minors and Port Elgin eight. Frank Hagon"and John Bright were given 5 minute majors at i6:34 of the third period for lighting. Goderich outshot Port Elgin in the game 48-30 Ron Miller led Goderich- with two goals and an assist in Meaford on , Sunday where Goderich defeated Meaford 5-2. Miller opened the scoring at the 27 second mark of the first period from Art McDougall and Wane Fisher. Jim Hayter made it 2-0 at 4:12 from Jim Parrish. Bob Doran got Meaford on the scoreboard at 6.17 from Jim Chapman. Miller scored his second, goal of the game at 15:46 from Dirk Wolterbeek.,, Wayne Doak scored Goderich fourth goal a minute later at 16:43 from .Jim Parrish and George Gould.
