Schoemaker, Rick Leddy and
Jim Wilkins scored for
Goderich Restaurant (I think).
Club Grill- top scorer was Larry
Daer with two goals, while
Tony s Bedard and Tom
Dougherty got the other ones.
This League seems to be very
well balanced ,as Goderich
Motors and Club Grill played
to a one -all -tie in another
game, and Goderich
Restaurant won over Sifto Salt.
Pat King has volunteered to
assist these coaches every
Saturday morning arid has
assured me he will get the

Trusting the convener and
coaches can get together as this
is the only League I'm not get-
ting FULL reports on.

led Goderich with 5 goals as, he

The- Huron County Minor
Soccer association heard an
encouraging report at their
meeting last night regarding •
the o

County wide league to be set up'
in 1973.
To date nine communities ,
had signified their intention to
teams s
field tem and had .cvnducted
preliminary registration to -find
an indication• of interest. Two
other communities, ` Goderich
and Seaforth, also intend en-

boys interested has been can -
ducted.
The combined communities
of Kippen, E'gmondville,
Brueefield, Bayfield and Varna
show a preliminary, enrollment
of 100 boys. Wingham recorded
110, Clinton 97, Blyth 74,
Huron Park 81, and it is expec-
ted Goderich will involve well
in excess of 200 soccer players.
Stolen curs
- In ^ New-,Y,ork' City- about
95,000 cars a year are stolen.
Around 60 percent of them are
never recovered, according to
NYC Police Captain Arthur
Deutsch, quoted by the'Ontario
Safety League. A professional
thief uses a body and fender tool
called a slapper that can screw
into auto locks and remove
them. It takes about 45 seconds
to slap the door„lock, slap the
ignition and ,drive off. The thief
gets $200 •for the job when he
delivers the car to .the big
operator. ,
Whole boatloads of .stolen
cars are shipped out to lucrative
foreign markets; a 1970 Chevy,
.for instance, is worth about
510,000 in Peru. But most cars
are'cut up for: replacement parts
- engines, wheels, batteries, front
clips, etc. A front clip 'is the
whole front of any car except
the engine and front axle - it's
the bumper, grille, lights and
front hood. A frontL clip on a
new Cadillac is worth $1200 - •

There is no danger of expins on or fire because no combustible uses are necer:ary ,n your home.
'So if you're the kind of person who worries about the safety of his family we're sure you'll agree
that Electric Heat ,s the best from, a safety standpoint
Redecorating is cut to a minimum — interior walls — drapes and furnishings are not yellowed or
discolored with "flameless” electric heating. Cleaning and dusting are lessened with clean electric ti,
heating because` there is no combustion and so no dirty byproducts are given off.
With the.. ;nly modern heating system—Electric heat—the humidity is maintained at the proper
level. You will feel more comfortable and your furniture will not dry out and crack.
No chimney is required with safe Electric heat because there is no fire in your basemont and there-
fore no need for a chimney to take harmful fumes and deadly gasses out of your home.
rot run
Electric heat is quiet --There is no annoying .noises which you get in the old fashioned type of heating
systems when the furnace comes on or shuts off. Electric hear is draft free. With built-in baseboard
units or completely torcealed ceiling cable, no air movement is heardor felt. Just gentle sunshine
warmth*--quiet—comfortab'e-• -safe.
Space Saving --neat, compact and attractive baseboa,d writs or completely concealed ceiling cable al-
lows you to use all the space in your home for modern living. Furniture may be located anywhere..
