the wedding November 4 at
which Donald Douglas Bricker
took Penny Jean Sheardown as
his bride. The double -ring
ceremony in St. George's
Anglican Church was for the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Harold 0. Sheardown arid the
son of. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas
.Bricker, all of Goderich.
For her wedding, the, bride
chose a sleeveless peat, de soie
grown: She carried white car-
--nations and red roses.
The matron of honor, Miss
Karen Sheardown, , Goderich,
wore a green . velvet dress and
carried a white muff and red
roses.
Gowned simil y were the
bridesmaids, Nliss Ruth Whit-
ten, Miss Vicki Chase and Miss
Connie Oke, all of Goderich,
and ' the flower -girl, '•Miss
Kathleen Sheardown, Goderich.
Ringbearer was° Michael
Sheardown. Groomsman was
Dennis Tricker, Goderich.
Ushers were .Dave Million,
Wayne Sheardown and Paul °
Bricker, all of Goderich.
The wedding reception was in
Saltford Valley Hall where red
rose's' graced the tables. The
bride's mother wore a mauve
• crepe chiffon dress with black
accessories and corsage of
yellow roses. The ..groom's
mother had selected a rose silk
crepe dress, silver accessories
and a corsage df white roses.
For a wedding trip to Nor-
thern Ontario, the bride donned
a- knitted slack suit with red
double-breasted blazer and
black slacks, red purse and mat-
ching shoes.
The couple is : esiding at 150
Eldon Street.
A bridal shower was held at
Maitland Country Club hosted
by. aunts of the bride, Mrs.
Harry Fritzley, Mrs. Fan Shear -
down, Mrs. Murray Sheardown
and Mrs. Carl Ashton as well as
the bride's sister, Miss Karen
Sheardown... There were 50
guests present.

design white crimplene. The
long bell-shaped sleeves were
trimmed with sequins. Her four -
tiered shoulder -length veil was
held in place by a seed pearl
coronet and carried a single tea
rose and bud.
Matron of honor was .Mrs.
Janice Cook, cousin of the bride,
Arthur. She wore a floor -length
dark green flowered polyester
crepe skirt topped with a mat-
ching blue long-sleeved top. She
carried a nosegay of white
shasta daisies with long
*milers ending in daisies.

brown accessories and a corsage

Prior to her marriage, the
bride was feted at a shower
given in Arthur by Mrs. Janice
Cook. There was also a shower
in Goderich hosted by Mrs. Bar-
bara Meriam and Judy.
