Sailors win third
BY 'KEITH WILLIAMS
The Goderich Intermediate C
Sailors' won their third con-
secutive exhibition game
defeating the Seaforth Beavers
7-3 in Seaforth.
. The teams traded goals in the -
first period but Goderich out-
scored Seaforth 4-1 iri the
second and_12-0 in the third.
Wayne Doak opened the
scoring for Goderich at 15:34.
but ,Bob Beuttenmiller tied the
game at 16:42 from Terry Craig.
Bill McLaughlin put Seaforth
ahead at 1:36 of the second with
an : assist going to Jack
McIllwain. Goderich then cut
loose for four straight goals and
a 5-3 lead .after two periods.
George Gould, Frank Hagon
and Wayne Rau combined'for"',a
good passing play around the
Seaforth net :with Gould netting
Goderich's second goal at 2:47.
Austin Faults nu,,,L,Poderich
ahead again at 4:Tr.) from
Wayne Doak: Faults scored
again at 4:50 from Ron Miller.
Frank Hagon and Tom
Crawford assisted o -Art
McDougall's goal at "'55. Bob
Beuttenmiller scored Seaforth's
final goal at'1'11:44 of the second
from Terry Craig.
Tom Crawford" scored
Goderich's sixth goal at 1:27 of
the third from Art McDougall
and Ron Miller. Wayne Rau
scored Goderich's 'final .goal at
18:15 unassisted. - -
Goderich took twelve minor
penalties in the. game to
Seaforth's eight. Rob Kellestin'e
and Chuck Jewell ':split the
goaltending again this game
and were kept busier, than in the
two games against Kincardine.
This was also a faster game
than the two pervious ones: The
Goderich forward .continued
their strong fore -checking and
back checking game and kept
Seaforth from getting organized.
Goderich opens their *regular
season this Friday evening at
home against Port Elgin. Game
time is 8:30 p.m. They travel to
Port Elgin on Sunday for an af-
ternoon encounter.

Bell •Canad intends to:
eliminate regular° monthly
charges for some•-speciekegxrip-
ment by people with speech and
hearing difficulties beginning
.Jan. 1, 1974.
The charges, which currently
range from $.30. to $2.15 a
month, apply to volume control
sets used by the hard of hearing;
the bone conductor receiver used
'when part of the normal hearing
function has to be bypassed;
and the transmitter amplifier
used by people with speech
problems.
Under the proposal being
made to the Canadian Tran-
sport Commission, people using
the equipment now would no
longer have to pay the recurring
monthly charge for it. New
customers would pay the regular
installation charge plus a one-
time $5.00 charge to offset some
of the initial costs involved in
providing a special service.
