Smoke damage, obnoxious fumes, as well as health hazards to those with respiratory ailments, are a few of the common effects of open burning. • The Ministry cites several alternatives to open burning. Depending upon the nature of the materials involved; they can be buried, composted, set out for municipal collection or taker directly to a local dump or sanitary landfill site.
