The workshop was conducted

The main purpose was to in.
troduce and discuss the new
examination syllabus which
goes into effect next summ4. In
general, the new Western
syllabus demands a somewhat
higher standard of miisical
ability in, all grades, and an un- .
derstanding of keyboard har-
mony in the more .-advanced
grades.
Other topics of discussion .in-
cluded the future licensing of all
music teachers, and the problem
of eo-called "music conser-
vatories" ruby by unqualified
persons charging- eitorbitant

• O.K., to answer the first part. In any con-
ventional ignition system
the Mechanical breaker
points may be the cause
of some problem.
Knowing, .Chrysler,
engineers developed „a
• solid-state electronic
system (all 6 & 8 cSil.
engines) that eliminates
the need for breaker
points and condenser,
and their resulting
maintenance headaches..
That essentially, is
-w t the new system is.
Now for what it
can do for your car and your wallet.
For starters your car is going to start
better at mileage levels when mechanical.
kms normally start to deteriorate.

And because engine misfiring at high-
way speeds is virtually eliminated exhaust
emissions :are greatly reduced.
What will it mean ;to your pocketbook? .-
Because there are no points to wear out,
no condenser to replace,
the cost of tune-ups
drops considerably..
