Mr. and Mrs. Victor Boyce of
191 Oxford' Street quietly
celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary last weekend.
The couple was married Sep-
tember 19,, 1922 .' in' Goderich.
♦ Mrs. Boyce was.the former Mar-
jorie Armstrong. They have
resided all , their married life
here. •
As well as close friends and
relatives, the event was attended ,
by' the couple's three children,
Mrs. George (Hazel) Schwanz,
Sarnia, Mrs. Steve (Dolly)
Shanfield, Ottawa and Elgin
Boyce, Goderich, and' their
families.
Congratulatory messages were
received from R.E. McKinley
MP for Huron, and John
Diefenbaker, former Prime
Minister of Canada.

The McNeil Reunion was
held last Sunday at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Cliff McNeil of
R.R.6 Goderich with 80 guests
attending. The afternoon was
• spent enjoying games and
wound up with a barbecue.
Relatives attended from
Toronto, Barrie, Woodbridge,
Shelburne „ and surrounding
area.

vice, with music ' provided by
Joanne Hayter and Marlene
Rader as the soloist.
Given in 'marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floor -
length A-line gown of cashmere
crepe. The Juliette sleeves were
of French lace, andthe head-
piece. was of the.same material,
with a four -tier train. She
carried a nosegay of daisies.

" The maid of honor was
Glenda Fisher, Exeter, and Jane
Broderick, Exeter and Mary
Ann Desjardins, Guelph, were
the bridesmaids.
The attendants were dressed
'in floor -length gowns of navy
with pink and white flowers,
elastic smocked bodice,. long full
sleeves' and ruffled hem lines.
They also wore white picture
hats trimmed with mint green
ribbon and carried nosegays of
daisies, white 'carnations and
baby's.. breath. _•

was the best man, and ushers

Guelph.
Following' a reception at
Dashwood Community Centre,
the bride and groom left for a
wedding .trip to Northern On-
tario. The bride'.s travelling oat -
fit was a`white tailored pant suit
trimmed with navy, and with
navy and 'red accessories.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Ford,,,,
Exeter, and the groom is the son
.of Mr. and Mrs. James Hayter,
Goderich.
Prior to the wedding, the
