The first 'meeting of the
Auburn I Club was held at the
home: of Mrs. `Donald Cart-
wright. The leader, Mrs. Frank
Raithby, welcomed everyone
and conducted the election of of-
ficers_ president, Gabriele
Voelmle; vice-president, Judy
Van Dongen; secretary, Carol
Gross; treasurer, Faye Seers;
press reporter; Wanda Plaetzer.
Mrs. Raithby told the members
the requirements for the books
and measurements were
discussed. They decided to hold
the ' next meeting . at .Mrs..

by Mrs. Bradnoek in the ab-
sence of the secretary, Miss. Min-
nie Wagner. The treasurer, Mrs.
Frances Clark spoke on 'the
financial part of the Society.
Plans were made to attend the
Arthur Circle meeting to hear
Miss Ida White from India.
Plans were made for the Oc-
tober and November. meetings.

Erie Council, Colborne Council
did not concur. Also a resolution

project, "The Third Meal", was
hetd on. September 16 at the
home of Mrs. John Westbrook.
An election of officers was
held. The outcome of that elec-

8.p.m. It was announced that
the Harvest Thanksgiving Ser-
vice will be held on Sunday, Oc-
tober first. The roll call was'an-

During the summer Bonnie
Westbrook attended the Girls'
Conference from July 11 to 14.
